Reception hours:

In surgery on Mondays and Fridays between 9am-1pm.
Remotely on Mondays and Fridays between 2:30pm-4:30pm.
Remotely on Tuesdays and Wednesdays between 9am-1pm.
Thursdays are restricted to telehealth booked online via HotDoc.

Phone calls and emails will be answered during these hours as normal.
Access to the surgery is via remote door control - please ring the video doorbell and wait for the door to be remotely unlocked, then head to the waiting room as usual. Dr John will be aware that you are waiting and will attend to you as soon as possible.

Phone consultations:

These can be booked either over the phone during normal surgery operating hours or online at any time via Hot Doc.
​
As of 1st January 2025, we will no longer be bulk billing phone consultations except for Healthcare Card holders, Pension card holders and children under 16 years old.
​
All other phone consults will be billed privately at a cost of $65 with a Medicare rebate available. Please note that Medicare has declared that telephone consultations are to be bulk-billed ONLY for existing patients and those patients MUST have been seen IN PERSON within the last 12 months. If you do not fit this criteria no rebate will be paid.
​
Similarly, in surgery consultations will no longer be bulk-billed except for Healthcare Card holders, Pension card holders and children under 16 years old.​

Entry to the surgery assumes your capacity to safely negotiate 3 steps. If required, it is your responsibility to arrange for physical assistance from a capable carer.
